hours Union: None POSITION SUMMARY The National Outreach &
Engagement Manager will be responsible for promoting the CMS brand
and it's services nationwide, representing the organization at
conferences, industry events, and networking opportunities. This
position requires a high-volume of travel and strong
relationship-building skills to engage with potential clients,
partners, and stakeholders. This role will also engage with
regulators and policy makers. The role will work closely with the
marketing and communications team, as well as the CMS management
team to deliver CMS events. This position requires a self-motivated
individual with strong project management skills, excellent
networking abilities, and a keen eye for identifying new
opportunities to improve CMS services and expand training revenue.
Advanced affordable housing experience is preferred.Starting Pay:
$86,043 to $100,545 Annually DOQTotal Pay Range: $86,043 to
$115,047 Annually Closes: Open until filled with priority given to
applications received by April 30, 2025. Benefit package

- Serve as the primary CMS representative at national and
regional industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Present CMS's mission, services, and expertise to enhance brand
visibility and thought leadership. Develop and deliver
presentations or speaking engagements as needed.
- Ensure consistency in CMS messaging and branding across all
event interactions and materials.
- Stay informed on key policy changes and industry trends
affecting CMS stakeholders.
- Engage with trade associations, key decision-makers, industry
leaders, property owners, and management agents to foster
partnerships and business opportunities.
- Act as a liaison between CMS and prospective clients,
responding to inquiries and connecting them with internal
teams.
- Maintain a database of industry contacts and ensure ongoing
engagement and follow-up.
- Leverage networking opportunities to identify emerging industry
needs and challenges.
- Work with the marketing and communications team to coordinate
exhibit booth setup, breakdown, and logistics. Troubleshoot on-site
event logistics to ensure seamless execution.
- Secure optimal booth placement, sponsorships, and speaking
opportunities at industry events.
- Maintain an organized conference schedule to maximize CMS's
presence.
- Partner with CMS managers to organize and promote training
events for owners and agents.
- Act as a point of contact for training attendees and provide
information about CMS programs.
- Gather feedback from participants to improve CMS services and
training.
- Research industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory
changes to identify growth opportunities.
- Recommend partnerships, service expansions, or market gaps CMS
can address.
- Track key event metrics, including attendee engagement,
networking outcomes, and lead generation.
- Prepare post-event reports summarizing impact, business
opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Provide insights to CMS's overall marketing and business
development strategy. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Required Education
and Experience Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing,
Communications, or a related field. Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, business development,
event coordination, or a related field (preferably in the
affordable housing, real estate, or nonprofit sectors).
- 2+ years of experience in high-volume networking, relationship
management, or sales, with a proven track record of building and
maintaining professional partnerships.
- 2+ years of experience in conference or event planning and
execution.
- Prior experience working with affordable housing programs, HUD
policies, or industry stakeholders is strongly preferred. Bremerton
Housing Authority has the discretion to accept any other equivalent
combination of education and experience when relevant. Computer
Skills:
- Intermediate user of Microsoft Office products, including Word,
Excel, and Outlook.
- Intermediate user of content authoring software, such as
Articulate 360 and Adobe Premier video editing software.
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as
computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines. Certifications &
Licenses:
- Must possess a valid driver's license, be insurable under BHA's
auto insurance policy, and be able to drive several hours a day.

under stressful situations. WORK ENVIRONMENT The employee in this
position is primarily on location at various locations properties.
Hearing and speaking are necessary to communicate with on-site
owners, agents, housing authorities, and other customers. Hand-eye
coordination is necessary to operate various pieces of office
equipment such as laptops and cell phones and is also necessary for
driving to the various work sites. The employee may occasionally
need to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. While in their home office,
they primarily sit at a desk, but have the opportunity to move
about at will. The work environment is deadline driven and very
